DESCRIPTION:Take part in the 2025 edition of the EPS Postdoc Day on October 16th – a day full of advice and support to help you navigate the career challenges and opportunities that come with the Postdoc position. This time\, the EPS Postdoc Day will look a bit different than in previous years: We will be visiting the leading company in vegetable breeding\, Bejo Zaden B.V. \nDate: 16 October 2025 \nTime: 11:00\, Lunch will be provided \nParticipants: max 30 \nDeadline for registration is the 1st of October 2025. Registration is now closed. \nLocation: Bejo Zaden\, Warmhuizen \nTransport: public transport\, car pools\, bus (for a fee) \nBejo Zaden \nFounded in 1978 by two families who foresaw the potential of breeding techniques to improve food production\, Bejo is now an international company with presence in more than 30 countries and distributing its products to more than 100. Bejo works to achieve varieties that grow well in a range of climates\, that are pest-resistant\, and that are rich in nutritional value. Beyond their cutting-edge work in seed breeding\, Bejo also takes interest in supporting organic farming and smallholder farmers. Many EPS alumni are now part of this innovative company.
