SUMMARY:EPS Theme 2 - Interactions between Plants and Biotic Agents
DESCRIPTION:Plants dynamically interact with a wide range of organisms—some harmful\, others beneficial. These interactions are not only fascinating subjects of scientific inquiry but also critically important\, as plant pathogens and pests are responsible for the loss of nearly 35% of the world’s annual crop harvest. In the Theme 2 symposium\, two keynote speakers\, along with junior researchers from the EPS community\, will present their latest findings. Their research focuses on both wild and cultivated accessions of economically important crops such as potato\, tomato\, barley\, tobacco\, and various Brassicaceae species\, alongside model organisms like clover and Arabidopsis thaliana. \nPresentations \nAre you a PhD candidate or a postdoc of EPS and would like to present your research at the Theme 2 symposium?
