DESCRIPTION:NEW DATE 09\, 10 and 12 November 2026 \n \nLectures and computer practicals. The computer practicals will be based on statistical approaches/questions within the plant science research field \nIn the course\, the following subjects will be addressed:\n– Hypothesis testing: T-test\, ANOVA\, F-test\, multiple comparisons tests.\n– Experimental design: completely randomized design (CRS)\, randomized complete block design (RCBD)\, factorial design with interaction and Splitplot designs.\n– Linear regression\, multiple linear regression\, linear models with qualitative and quantitative variables\, selection of variables.\n– Sample size \nHalf the course will be used to make exercises with R-Studio using examples from the plant sciences. \nDates: November\, 09\, 10 and 12. 2026\nDeadline for registration: October 23rd\, 2026\nCoordinators: Saskia Burgers (Biometris) and EPS office (contact: Juliane Teapal) \nFee:\n€350 for PhD candidates of EPS with an accepted TSP \n€425 for postdocs registered with EPS \n€500 EPS staff members \n€600 for all other employees at the Universities \n€1200 Industry \nRegister
