2nd year PhD meet-up – Resilience & Motivation in the PhD programme
Dates: Wednesday 23 October (session 1) & Wednesday 27 November (session 2)

This two-half day workshop on Resilience & Motivation in the PhD programme aims to encourage you to find balance in your personal and professional life.
In the first session we’ll explore your circle of influence; how to use mindfulness and healthy habits in your professional life; and how to increase your productivity by doing nothing.
In the second session we’ll meet once more to inspire and support each other to continue to nurture our resilience and professional motivation. We will share our experiences with resilience and motivation in the weeks between the two sessions of the course.
We will use various embodiment practices – using the body as a tool to self-regulate, find balance and be empowered – to further explore our professional intrinsic motivation.
This is an explorative and co-creative workshop and all participants are asked to join with a curious and open mind. There will be ample opportunity to explore and deepen your own approaches towards living a balanced professional and personal life.

Tip: The second session is without a lunch, but you can arrange to meet up with other participants for lunch in Stadsbrasserie De Utrechter on the ground floor of the same building prior to the workshop.

* For session 1 a fee of 75 EUR and for session 2 a fee of 50 EUR applies in case of a no-show or a cancellation later than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date.
** The follow-up session 2 will only be held in person with minimally 10 participants. If there are between 5-9 participants, session 2 will be hosted online and with a shorter programme.
