The second edition of the EPS PI meeting will take place on October 28 in Utrecht. This meeting will give you the opportunity to meet with other PIs in EPS that you may not know so well yet and get to know their research. In addition we aim to let you think together about future research opportunities in specific topics. These topics are meant to bring together EPS researchers and strengthen their connections within collaborative projects or the EPS themes.
Ideas of topics for collaborative projects:
- Future of breeding with AI/computational methods
- Integrating levels: genomes – plant – environment
- Modelling plant processes
- Evolution in plants and plant/molecular interactions
- EPS opportunities in environmental resilience
- Exploring physics in plant science
- Metabolism & discovery of natural products
- Single cell sequencing: an ever expanding biological world
The programme will start with scientific pitches, these will be followed by discussion in larger groups. The afternoon will end with a random seating dinner.
