Following this 2-day course, you will understand the molecular mechanisms of CRISPR-Cas systems, including guide RNA (gRNA) design and DNA repair pathways. It will provide an overview of the application of CRISPR/Cas in plant research and how to design your CRISPR-Cas experiments ( predict/minimize off-target effects using bioinformatics , choose delivery vectors, etc). We will also discuss the ethical, legal, and societal implications of using genome-editing technologies, taking our own research project as a starting point.

The detailed programme will follow as soon as possible
