Lectures and computer practicals. The computer practicals will be based on statistical approaches/questions within the plant science research field

In the course, the following subjects will be addressed:
– Hypothesis testing: T-test, ANOVA, F-test, multiple comparisons tests.
– Experimental design: completely randomized design (CRS), randomized complete block design (RCBD), factorial design with interaction and Splitplot designs.
– Linear regression, multiple linear regression, linear models with qualitative and quantitative variables, selection of variables.
– Sample size

Half the course will be used to make exercises with R-Studio using examples from the plant sciences.
